Jo Family

Overview[]

The Jo Family/Clan, is a blacksmith family in Anhui Province of the Central Plains. Currently, under Jo Hwi's leadership, it is almost the ruler of the Anhui Province's economy.

The Jo Family actually has a deep lineage throughout the ages. Even though this lineage has been destroyed or close to destruction several times, it was the base of the most powerful, intelligent, and the wisest individuals in all history. For some unknown reasons, the Jo Family has a deep enmity with the Sama Clan.

Uicheon Crimson Jade[]

Each generation's patriarch will pass down the Uicheon Crimson Jade to the representative clan member of the next generation. As a member of the future generation who was selected and bestowed the blessing of the Uicheon Crimson Jade, one will receive great abilities. In return, one's fate lies with the Crimson Jade. In other words, the holder is attached by a string, when the holder's life comes to an end, via the string, the holder's spirit will belong to the Crimson Jade and the God-like entity, Uicheon's creator.

Workshop[]

Jo Hwi restructured Jo Family's workshop in the beginning into three buildings.

Daesan Building: A place where large iron products such as plows, iron gates, iron columns, etc., are manufactured, with the original members taking the lead.
Sosan Building: A department that produces small iron agricultural tools such as shovels, sickles, hoes, plowshares, iron plows, and iron sickles, with newly recruited members taking the lead.
Gisan Building: A department that produces more technologically intensive products such as safes, locks, carriages, litters, iron wheels, etc., newly established and invested in.
